I pull my Case VAS(about the same weight of a 'A') with a Dodge Raider 3.0 V6. No problems but tall hills will slow me down some. I have trailer brakes and highly recommend them. I bought the brake controller for $42 and installed them myself. Saved a hundred bucks.
