I see Middle Musquodoboit now!! Just had to look closer! You're right about the five miles up for Westfield. The ferry at Westfield is still there but it crosses to Hardings point! The Westfield side is called Brundage (sp?) point. My Grandfather owned the land at Brundage point at one time. Sold it to the Government to make the warf for the river boats and later the ferry. My sister lives in the old house. The Gondola point ferry is a different one. It is still there too. The Gondola point ferry crosses the Kennebecassis river to the Kinston Pennisula. I betcha a lot of people have never seen a cable ferry before!! There are other ferry's that cross the river in different spots that are cable ferry's too.
