Tim: Those old cable ferries, had a few of them in NS also. They work great until the cable breaks. Now your getting into those 16 cylinder names NB is so famous for. Names like Pennobsquis, Memramcook, Quispamsis, Petitcodiac, just to name a few. When I moved here I crossed the new double bridge 4 lane crossing just south of Fredricton. That is quite a bridge, they didn't spare many nickles on that one. None of this nonsence crossing the river at 90 degrees. That bridge must be 2 miles long, to cross a 500' river. I'll say this about New Brunswickers, they may have been one of the last places in North America to get divided 4 lane highways, but they caught onto them quicker than anyone else. A New Brunswicker will come off an on ramp to the highway at 110 Km per hour (70mph) every time, no pussyfooting around getting up speed after he is in traffic.
