I'd run either the 10-30 or a straight 10, depending on how cold it gets. We run 10-30 or 15-40 most of the year, but switch to 10 in all of our winter running tractors. If it never gets below 15 then 10-30 would be fine, but if you push snow on days that make Eskimos stay indoors, then go with the 10> Whatever you run, watch the oil pressure. If it's not coming up as quick as it should be, shut her down. And, make sure you let her warm up fully before doing any hard work. When it gets cold out, engines never really warm up, especially just pushing snow. Aaron
