Ken, Just my opinion but I can't see what you would have to loose by trying unless you are on the hwy alot with this baler if it doesn't work and breaks again then replace the axle I would hate to spend a lot of money on a 25 year old baler. By the way I live near New London just a couple miles fron hwy 79 and have been working at the lock & dam at Clarksville almost neighbors Brian.
