I HAVE A VEMEER BAILER MAYBE 25 YEARS OLD. WILL BALE MAYBE A 1000 LB BALE. I WAS ROLLING ALONG REAL GOOD THE OTHER DAY WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I SEEN A TIRE PASS ME UP THE WHEEL AXILE BROKE ABOUT HALF INCH OUT PAST THE REAR BEARING ON THE HUB OF THE BALER THE BEARINGS ARE ALL GOOD IN THE HUB THAT HOLDS THE TIRE ON AND THE REAR BEARING STILL ON THE SHAFT IS GOOD. MY QUESTION IS IF I GOT A PROFESSIONAL WELDER WITH A PORTABLE WELDER DO YOU THINK IT COULD BE WELDED TO HOLD THE WEIGHT IT HELD BEFORE. NOW QUESTION NO 2 THE BALER IS SITTING IN THE FEILD WITH THE FRAME ON THE GROUND WITHOUT A ROLL IN IT I HAD JUST RELEASED A ROLL SO IT'S EMPTY. I HAVE A 450 IH TRACTOR WITH A FRONT LOADER ON IT OR I CAN PUT THE HAY FORK ON. MY QUESTION IS WOULD IT BE TO MUCH WEIGHT JUST TO LIFT ONE SIDE OF THE BALER UP TO WELD IT IF IT CAN BE WELDED AND WOULD IT BE TO MUCH OF A STRAIN ON THE HYDRAULICS TO TRY SUCH A TASK. THANK YOU ALL (KEN AT ELSBERRY MO)
