I suggest simply removing and disassembling the entire unit. Soak the parts in keroscene. When you have all the arms off the shaft, inspect it and make sure no sediment is left in the tube. This is the oil passage, and any dirt should be removed. I hace done this with my Super C, it is not a hard job. One more thing. When you take off the c-clip, make sure it does not shoot across the room. Also remember that when you reinstall, that the valve clearance should be adjusted.
