I am about ready to undertake a complete engine rebuild on my 1954 Super C and am looking for any other ideas to boost the power. As with alot of us I can't seem to do a rebuild without trying to add a little more power. My plans are to increase the power as much as possible and keep it looking stock. I plan to bring it up to 230 specs by using 200 to 230 pistons to up the compression ratio from 6.0 to 6.5 and to use a governor out of a 230 to get the rpm's to 1800. I want to use a 6 volt electronic ignition and high voltage coil conversion. Any other ideas? Any unforeseen problems with my plans so far? Any aftermarket suppliers for 123 engines? Thanks!
