I built a Farmall M with a 440 mopar and a 727 automatic hooked into the farmall's five speed. one of the main things when putting that much power in a farmall M is that you need some good brakes. get ride of the band brakes and set it up for disc brakes. other wise when are under a hard pull and you want to keep it going straight down the track the bands can lock up at times which can cause alot of trouble.
