Basically any C-221, C-263, C-291, or C-301 out of a tractor or combine will work. They're all the same block. You'll might need a 60 series front cover and rear plate, but then again, your diesel also uses the same block design as the the gassers. I'd go for a C-291 out of a late 706, 756, 666, 766, or 686. The six-cylinder gas combine engines were not sleeved no matter if they were a C-221, C-263, C-291, or a C-301, so if anything bad happens, you buy a new block. The C-301 was never sleeved, and the C-221 and C-263 in 460, 560, 660, 606, 706, and 656 had loose fitting sleeves that could give trouble once in a while. The The C-291 took care of that problem with press-fit sleeves.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
