Kelly C's hurried paint job reminded me of something. I have spent most of my spare time in the last 6 months restoring a BN. Soon I will post pictures. When I first got it I was thinking....what kind of knucklehead painted this tracor previously with a brush. It looked horible. Years of use had left grease and farm grime in all the brush strokes, and it just looked sad. Some places had a layer of paint holding a big lump of grease and dirt below it's surface. Obviously, this farmer had a slow two hours, not a whole day. But after working on it for so long, it occurred to me that once the bad paint was removed, all the sheet metal was beautiful. The cursed brush job had made my life and the tractors so much easier. So I salute all those who lay it on thick. In fact, if I could get one of those Budwieser commercials made for you, it would go like this...... Budwieser presents "real American Heroes". Today we salute you mister slap it on thick with a brush heritage preserving vehicle painter guy....... Take Care Steve ps. Kelly C....your tractor looks great.
