I'd much rather work on one that had a brush job than one which had been left to rust. At least it protects the metal, and not everyone has the equipment, or skills to do a show quality paint job. When I was a kid Dad decided it was time to put a coat of paint on our 2 tractors. Both got brush jobs as we did not have a compressor and gun nor the facilities to do it right in. I call it a 50/50 paint job.....looks good from 50 feet away, or at 50 miles per hour. That was about 30 years ago, and I still own both tractors, and plan on repainting both. If it weren't for the brush paint job I would likely be dealing with pitted metal much worse than I have now. Now if I can just find the time to get after them. Kelly gave me an idea. Find an afternoon and go for it.
