Yeah, we are really lucky; we don't have to look for the hail, it finds us. That particular hail you are talking about was a beaut, but it only took out the wheat that had escaped the draught; the rest of the crops came out of it. Now if they can just beat the killer frost.

It was three of these sweet little hailstorms, three years running, that successfully removed me from the farming business in the early eighties and left 5" holes in my metal equipment shed roof.
