Farmall b crank seal

I have a small leak and think it is coming from the front seal. It drips about every 5 seconds and hits the front tires. I have bought the seal and cover gasket. Went out to the barn and looked at what it is going to take. Looked major to me with my mechanical skills. I guess the front end has to come off to gain clearance for the pulley to slide out and the cover looks to be behind the governor also. Am I thinking right? or is there an easier way. The leak just bothers me, the tractor runs good.
