The hard part is pulling the pulley off. Early pulleys have a setscrew but later ones are just pressed on. In either case, you need a good, heavy puller. You need to use a big bearing splitter behind ther pulley of you will braek a chunk of the flange off. There is a threaded hole in the end of the crankshaft. Run a bolt into the bottom of that hole so you can push without damaging the threads. You use a threaded rod in the crankshaft hole with a nut to pull the pulley back on. It goes easier if you heat the pulley in an oven before installing it. While the pulley is off, you pull the front cover, replace the seal then reinstall the cover but leave it loose until the pulley is back on. After the pulley is back on, let the seal center itself on the pulley then tighten the cover.
