436 in 986 and 186 were naturally aspirated, without turbo, that is. Simply the biggest difference. I don't believe they had the big oil coolers that the 14 and 1586's had, either. I think Steven meant to say 86 and not 68, because the 14 and 1568's had the big DV-550 V8 engine. Simple typo, but just to clarify.
