I would bet that the pin has sheerded or the snap ring came out , this does not happen vary often but it does if you have alot of driveline chatter it can work the clutch pack snap ring out and if you like playen with the farmalls of the newer style then you should have the fitting for the PTO so you can set clutch pressure this is something that you can not guess at . When i rebuild them i always use the 7 and 9 set up from the higher H.P. tractors and set clutch lock up pressure at around 260 to 270 no clutch slippage. Now if you did not check the pressure after rebuild then it is posable that you have fryed them.
