Just a wild idea here and probably isn't really applicable, but, if you could spin it fast enough, why not mount your power steering pump out back and drive it off the pto shaft? I'm pretty sure tractor pullers go to great lengths to take weight off the front of tractors and get more weight on the rear....
We do this on our dirt track stock cars- the oil, powersteering, and fuel pumps are all driven off the back of the bellhousing in an attempt to put more weight on the rear wheels(ie-traction).
