Years ago, right after they quit shipping leaded gas even to farmers, we used to have plugs foul up all the time on the gas tractors. Didn't matter if it was a 4 or 6. Seemed to be worse if you left the tractor idle for any length of time. Frankly, I don't know what stopped it, but we had one tractor that was used pretty regularly and I can't remember the last time it had a fouled plug. Granted, it was a loader tractor, and knocked like a jackhammer at idle, so it never sat idling...
