It's just a question like any other -- those asking usually don't have a clue as to what their (or someone else's, if they are buying) tractor is worth. Some people do think they can make money on them, they will quickly find out otherwise, unless it is a Super MTA or some other
"desireable" one. I'm going to sell mine at a loss the day before I go into the nursing home (any day now). When I buy them, like you, I am not looking to make a profit.
