Rebuild on DT361

Probably stupid question but my 1206 with the DT361 needs a rebuilt. I can get a crank out of a DT 407 really easy and fairly reasonably cheap. My question is will that crankshaft work with my 361 block and will it give the tractor any more power? Someone told me that the crankshaft out of the 407 has a longer stroke so you increase the power a little. I don't know. I use my 1206 for a little spring field work and a little pulling in the summer.
