Mornin" Scotty, The whole she-bang is 3-point mounted, of course and is built in two pieces: The hitch has a large diameter barrel that the main plow backbone rides on. If you will notice in the picture, there is a hydraulic cylinder laying crosswise on top of the hitch frame right behind and above the lower hitch points. This cylinder is tied to both the hitch and the main plow frame. When the cylinder is actuated, the whole mess rotates laterally 180 degrees on this large barrel and it always rotates in a direction whereby that gauge wheel will swing down underneath the plow as it rotates. This swinging motion of the spin allows gravity to unlock a somewhat large "rocking" lock at the gauge wheel and will then let the gauge wheel drop down onto it"s opposite catch as the plow is coming up into the opposite pull direction. The sequence is: lift the 3-point at the end of the field, do a tight braking figure-8 turn out onto the unplowed ground while at the same time spinning the plow over for the next run. The whole complete spin of the plow probably doesn"t take 3 to 5 seconds. Hope this makes sense, I"m only on my first cup. :>) Allan
