I have a front running MTA with fast hitch and model 106 Woods cutter. It will handle 4" trees. I built a frame out of 3x3 square tube that deflects and bends tall brush and trees around the grill. It starts at a point about one foot in front of the grill and sweeps the standing brush/trees past the rear tires. It is a good thing the tractor has LPTO. The six foot wide cutter needs to pause forward motion when the brush is really thick. Anything over three inches usually comes out as debarked poles separated from their roots. I have used it around commercial radio tower sites. I have also cleared around 90 acres in front of neglected dikes for the Army Corps of Engineers.
