The "T" date code on your tranmission and gear box are for 1950. The serial number you have is enough to indicate 1950. The engine block date code "S" is 1949. Its known that parts could be cast one year, put in stock, and used the next year, especially if cast later in the year. I'm betting $1 its a 1950. FF1 would make it an Internationl Super A. I suspect the hydraulic system suffered a falilure early in its life and was replaced which would explain the 1952 casting. (maybe it was still under warranty?) 1540 would be max idle rpm, but seem a little high since Guy Fays book says 1400rpm for the I A, and 1450 for the I SA1. Since your gas peddal is missing, maybe someone swapped it for the throttle leaver so they could do farming instead of what ever the tractor use to do. Anybody else care to chime in???
