Well Kevin, I'm currently in the middle of the same project on a B. I flushed all I could and still had a problem, so I pulled the head off and flushed the cooling passages with a pressure washer. Got about 3 double handfulls of scale & rust out of it. Had the radiator flushed and the head gone over while it was off. Got the head back from the machine shop yesterday and hope to reassemble the engine this weekend. It's a lot of work, but if it works it will be well worth it. I thought about trying to do it by filling the cooling system with something like Lime-Away or something like that, but I was afraid of unintended damage to something else inside the engine.
