Well, I'm 18 and have a full drivers license so that's not a problem. I don't really have to worry about the ditch (unfortunately) but I do have to mind the curb. I do a lot of cycling, anywhere from 1000 - 2000km per year so I'm well aware of what idiots drivers can become. One of my biggest problems is that I'm bounded by a couple of roads that are four lanes wide with a center turning lane (50/60kph limits) that depending on where I go I either have to cross or drive down. I'm not intending to do this at rush hour though, 5AM sounds good to me. Thanks, SAm in NS
