Yes, the seat is the same on both ends although on one end the hole is flared slighlty. Looked to me that soemone had really turned the screw hard to get them stuck together. I was able to knock it off, it was not corroded. I've gotten the seats in Ford carb kits, but I never had a clue as to how to remove the old ones.
Now I have one out, and don't know what to do!
Actually, I think I'll put a thin coat of solder on it to make it fit....
