Probably not good that the seat pulled out that easily, the needle must have really been corroded to it. Before you but any kit make sure that it includes the seat. I haven't seen a kit yet that does. Just curious, I've never had a seat removed, is the seat the same on both ends? If so, maybe you could re-install it backwards and have the same result as putting a new one in.
Can anyone tell me for sure where a kit can be purchased that includes EVERYTHING you need for a truly complete rebuild???
