No, all his tractors that size have been gas except a 686, which was also a very good tractor. Dad has always wanted to keep a gas tractor around because here in Iowa it can get cold sometimes. Yes, I know it gets even colder up north. I think my grandpa never thought the 656 was much of an improvement over the 560. He went from an M to a 560, so the 656 wouldn"t have been as large as jump as live hydraulics and pto, power steering, and a ta. Another thing he was disappointed in was the lack of down pressure on the fast hitch.
