Bob: I been running Farmalls for over 50 years and never had a grease zerk in either of those holes. I have seen guys have more trouble with zerks for greasing the distributor shaft, than guys who don't. The guys using zerks almost always get to much grease in there. About every two years I remove the plugs, and use a squeeze tube of white automotive grease. A few decades ago an IH technician told me to use the white automotive grease. His reasoning was regular gun grease gets to stiff in cold weather.
