our 1256 had the tranny out about 15 years ago. so it can happen.
for a loader tractor, i dont think so! unless they have hydraulic assist clutches, you will regret using them as a loader tractor after about 20 minutes...gotta have a real strong clutch foot.
otherwise a great powerhorse and one of the sweetest sounding diesel engines...and relatively quiet too. if well tuned, will start fairly well in winter if coolant heaters are used.
