That's not the dirt port for the bellhousing. The dirt port is at the rear of the clutch housing, just in front of the transmission. The oblong cover on the bottom of the clutch housing is used to drain the dirt. The cover halfway up the left side is where you check the level of the dirt. Sorry, I couldn't resist. I have found the problem is not dirt, but mice.
