I have been having exactly the same problem off and on for about 6 months now. Goes away and then comes back. Personally I think it is a software gremlin as it is intermittent.

I now have the problem where I cannot submit a link in the optional link url box. Works on preview, works on initial post, but as soon as you go to view the post from the main page, the link is dead......
