It may come off very easily, I have removed one on a C and one on a Super H, no problems. The one on my 460U took more like a week, had to break the four bolts that held the seat on (on the 460U these also hold the trans cover), and attempted to drill them out. Was getting the holes off center, so I did not drill them all the way out, so the cover had to slide past the shanks on the broken bolts. Had the whole rear of the tractor, wheels and all hanging by an engine hoist for 4 days or so. Finally came loose. I would not expect an M cover to give that kind of trouble.
