Depends on what kind of soil you have and how many hills you have. You may also want to put more weights on too. I know of people who pulled 4 bottoms with MD's so I am sure it can be done. I farm in NY state on rolling land with gravely soil and pull a 3-16 Oliver with a Super M or a Super W-6. It also makes a difference what brand of plow that you use. I know that my 3-16 Oliver pulls much easier than the JD 3-14 that I used before. Have heard that IH plows pull easier than JD, also.
