Yup, JD plows have always pulled hard for me. Case plows did too............Olivers and IH's have to be the easier pulling plows of the lot.

Ran 4-14's on a 400.........Don't know what was in it but that SOB was a pulling machine! In our clay you ran 2nd.......In the bottoms I coulda probably ran 3rd. I had power to spare in the high side of second. Darn thing would out run our 706D with a D282 pulling a disk/cultipacker. Only problem was it REALLY, REALLY, REALLY liked the gas!
