It was used for square bailing to get the right ground speed, slow down on the end of the field when plowing or cultivating, for more power in a tough spot, and on and on. In 12000 hours on a gasser it was replaced once. When it was sold it was still working. I’ve got a Diesel I bought with the TA out and fixed it 21 years ago. Still work to this day about 4000 hours later.
