Also you will need a LARGE hi amp battery to operate this winch.but for a 1 time loading I have just used a 4 ton come along takes a little time but a whole lot cheaper than a winch. And I would stay away from habor frieghts winches they are not as good as one would think niebhor put a 2000lb on his atv the winch stalled out after 2nd wrap on drum and the mud was not that deep we pushed it out by hand.
