That crank pulley can be a son of a gun!!! What you need is a split bearing puller. The puller needs to go behind the meaty part of the pulley, because if you try to pull from the fan belt groove you will crack that pulley easily. I believe Northern Equipment will have the puller you need. Some heat applied to the pulley will help also. I hope this helps, I know your frustation, because I had the same problem.
