Nope! He"s saying that the TA shifting has been updated to the electric style. The 3088 series had it for sure, not sure if it was avalible from the factory on the late 86"s, but it certainly can be installed. Uses a microswitch on the control lever to activate a soliniod which moves the shift valve. Eliminates the mechanical linkage and the problems caused by those who do not adjust it once in a while. Mechanical Diode TA"s are somthing totally different.
