I am going to have to side with Rusty on this one. You can mill the block, but dont do it to build compression. Just deck the block, with the sleeves in the block, and mill the block deck flat. Just enough to true up the warpage on the block deck, no more. What casting number is your cyl head? 8043D, 8043DD, and the 300-350 heads, most can have .200 milled off pretty easy, and still have plenty of meat left over to be reliable inthe fields still,, Main thing to remember about milling cyl heads, is not to get the head plate too thin. Measure the thickenss at the triangle water ports, and keep the plate thickeness no thinner than .300 on a working farm tractor. What ever is beyond .300, is what you can mill off the head safely.
