Did you re-torque the head after running it for a little while after you replaced the head Gasket? If it's seeping coolant, you may need to pull the head off again and have it checked for flatness by a machine shop. Could also be a crack in the head too, another thing a machine shop can check for you. Some gaskets require sealant and re-torque, the last few I've done were Fel-Pro's and had "sealer and re-torque required" stamped right on the gasket. On the poor running problem, I'd try new plugs first. Seems like they will foul pretty quick when these tractors are run at light loads.
