Big Fred,
I had a C a while back. It was the easiest steering tractor I've ever been on (without power steering). Kinda wishing I hadn't traded, but I got what I wanted in it's place (a B). I'd look for a good running C instead of trying to swap engines. The C has a lot of advantages over the B, but I like the smaller tractors better for "playing" with. My two cents,
