Sounds like ya have short, when the tractor is running feel the wire's and batter cables. If you find one that is warm or even hot trace it and you may find you problem. If that dozen't work, take battery back and have them check it, new battery can be bad, have shorted plate's. Next check starter make sure it's not running after you start tractor for any lenght of time, you should here this though if it was happening. Far from last but not least check your charging system to make sure your getting six volts out of the generator. only one man's thought's but gives you a starting point. I'm sure there are other people here that tell ya more. :-)
