Joe; We preferd an external tank heater. Had a head bolt heater on an M. Lower rad.heater on the Ferguson. External tank heaters on the 706 and the other M.They connect to the block drain for supply and feed into a tap in the head or water pump. Least liked was the magnetic heater. Didnt think it did a very good job. steveormary
