I don't like the down side of fluid either ie- rusting rims, tire wear, etc., but around here either you have weights stacked so wide the tractor won't fit through the shed door or you run fluid. You bet 1,000 lbs. +/- in those H tires is gonna make a huge difference! 13.6x38's on my DC will hold over 1,200 lbs. 20.8x38... approx. 3,000 lbs. on our 1270 Case. All but one of our tractors has max. fluid and the remaining one should too. Glenn F.
