You are right about SH but on SM the only major difference in clutch housing was going to a 3 bolt starter mounting,belley pump still worked in housing. I have actually saw late SM with belley pump.IH made special bracket that bolted on rear gas tank support which placed choke,starter and belt pulley gear box rods in same place they would be on live hydraulic reservoir.For the gasoline , rod support # 358265R1 was used for belley pump equiped tractors F-28175 up.
