In less harsh words, you might want to spend a signifigant amount of time and effort learning about your tractor before you go and start changing things. The type of ground is pretty basic information, and the fact that you don't know what it means or how to tell which kind you have tells me/us that you know very little about electrical systems in general. Going in stone-cold blind, you're likely to make a real mess of the tractor. You should have a good reason for installing an electronic ignition. If the tractor is running well, and starts reasonably well, you don't need an electronic ignition.
