supermpuller has a good point. I was pulling a 5-14 plow in some tough going soil (Low 2nd) one time and broke the bolts holding the clamps on my 966. Not a good deal, almost wrecked the wheel before I cought what had happened.

I had a 1486 with the wedgies. After I rebuilt the rear end, I had some issues with them coming loose when I dualed her up. A 1" impact on the wedge bolt took care of that and they never came loose again.
