Repower an H

Ihave an H in need of an engine,I have done V8 repowers and are happy with them . one a 345 in a 560 the other a 345 in my M.I thought finding a Chev 2.8 liter V6 carburated .engine with a standard transmission would be no problem. They made thousands of S10 pickups, I'm having no luck in finding one.Anybody know where I can find one.prefer within 250 miles of DesMoines,Ia.Really appreciate any help on this Thanks.
